More video!

Brian took the boys sledding, and I keep forgetting to add the video, so here it is!

Of course, we don't have snow anymore, but they had fun when we did!

He's home!

After 2 years of life in Puerto Rico Steve finally came home. He's still roughly 14 feet tall but SO skinny! I'm going to have to bake him cheesecakes every time I see him for a while. (Although I did see protein powder and some other supplement type stuff appear at Mom & Dad's the very night he came home, so I'm sure he'll have other help!)

We drove out to see him Thursday after soccer. After months of looking at the calendar and pointing out the day Steve came home Alex was not going to wait. So we made it to Vernal about 11pm and left the next morning at 11am. We spent Friday afternoon packing and then drove back to Vernal on Saturday! It was a lot of driving, but a lot of fun, and absolutely worth it to see him.

I caught a black widow today.

Except, it wasn't. I saw this black spider in my scrapbook room and thought, "it's a black widow! I must catch it to save my children from it, even if it bites me!" So I dumped out a container of American Crafts felt and caught... a harmless wolf spider.

I just uploaded a bunch of stuff from the video camera, now it's time to get caught up! Here's Alex, boxing on the Wii. For Alex, at least, the Wii really IS a good workout! (The video is only 26 seconds long!)
